Malcolm's services divide into four major categories; is an author, a presenter, an educator and a consultant operating mainly in the IT Service Management arena but he also covers the relationships between IT and the Business Community. Recently he has been researching and writing on Lean IT and Cloud Computing. He has been involved with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library from conception although has not authored any books but provided mentoring services.

As an author he has written 6 books, co-authored another 2, written 15+ booklets, had numerous articles published and has more books in the pipeline. Malcolm is probably best known for his presentation skills and is in demand worldwide, in fact he has presented at events in over 50 countries For example he will be presenting over the next few months in the UK, USA, Brazil, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Denmark and Sweden. Early on in his career Malcolm specialized as an educator covering a wide range of topics from teaching Management skills to tutoring specialists how to build data bases. In the past Malcolm has provided consultancy primarily in the IT Service Management area guiding projects and appraising ITSM efficiency, for example helping an organization to implement ITIL. Malcolm prefers to let his knowledge supplement local skills and as such does not have a team of consultants it is just him and his vast experience. He is also often used by senior management on a one to one basis as a sounding board to provide confidential advice on IT and business issues. Malcolm will not be trying to tie you into long and expensive contracts but can provide advice that may help you to avoid being committed to long and expensive contracts.
